Pahawang Island, the so called paradise for snorkelers, is located in Lampung Province on the Island of Sumatra, Indonesia. I have a chance to go to this beautiful island with my friends tow years ago. Here are some of the documentation we had using my friend's Go Pro 4. Underwater Snorkeling Pahawang Island Indonesia

We used a travel agent to arranged all of the accommodation from the places we lived, transport we used, and food we eat at Pahawang Island. You can find a lot of the possible travel agent on the internet if you need help to go to Pahawang Island. The price range would be around Rp.350.000-500.000 (start at Port of Merak) depend on the services you get. 

We gathered at Port of Merak on Friday midnight after my friend come from his afternoon shift. We use ASDP Indonesia Ferry to go to Port of Bakauheni in Lampung Province. The ferry carrying passengers and vehicles, particularly large trucks  and connect the two Ports across the Sunda Strait. I guess it takes about 3-4 hours to get to Bakauheni. After we arrived at Bakauheni, we continue the trip to Ketapang, a pier that have access to go to Pahawang Island. I guess it takes another 3-4 hours to get there. About 9.00 AM local time, we are ready to go to Pahawang Island using boat carrying about 15-20 passengers. We hopped from one island to another island whose I don't remember the names (It was 2 years ago, duh!). The beautiful of the island and the underwater scene can you see from the pictures alright!
